2019
First meeting
A rainy evening at a bookshop in Florence. She reached for the same Calvino novel. He let her have it — and asked for her number instead.
2020
Moving in together
A tiny apartment in Rome. Two shelves of books became twelve. They cooked terrible pasta and fell deeply, wonderfully in love.
2022
The proposal
At sunset on the cliffs of Cinque Terre. He forgot the ring in the hotel — she said yes anyway. The ring arrived two hours later.
2025
